Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to return the product.
We do our best to provide information to help in selecting the correct parts for your garage door. Keep in mind that not all doors over the last 60+ years will have the same hardware etc. There have been many different door manufactures and types of hardware, bottom seal, etc. While we do our best to provide information in the form of pictures, measurements, etc. we cannot guarantee that the product being sold will always work for your door. It is ultimately the buyer who will need to make this determination.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging (if applicable). You will need your original order number or a print out of your order receipt.
To start a return, you can contact us at mcoverheaddoor@gmail.com. Please note that all returns will need to be sent to the following address: 23703 State Highway 285 Cochranton, PA 16314. This includes any items purchased that may have been shipped to you directly from a manufacturer or other location.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. We do not offer free returns. The email sent to you will include the return shipping amount that will be deducted from your refund if the provided return label is used to return your item(s). Alternately, you may purchase your own return label from the shipping carrier of your choice. Please always include the original order number in your return package.

Torsion Spring Returns
Once a torsion spring is installed (wound) long enough for the wind to ‘set’, meaning that even after the spring is taken down (unwound) the wire remains twisted, we will no longer accept a return for the spring(s). At this point the spring is considered a used spring and is no longer resell able. If you are unsure if your torsion spring(s) is eligible to return, you can always email pictures of it to us at mcoverheaddoor@gmail.com.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products cannot be returned. This includes any garage springs (torsion, extension, TorqueMaster, or other) of a size not stocked by us that needs to be custom ordered and manufactured to specific measurements of weight, size, etc.
Exchanges
We do not do exchanges. A separate purchase will need to be made for a new item.
Refunds
Once we receive your return, it will be inspected by us. If the product is in good new re-sellable condition, a refund on your original payment method will be issued within 3 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
